Pony club is all about having fun while learning the basics of riding and horsemanship. The pony club curriculum covers how to handle and care for a horse or pony safely and the basic skills and rules of various sports like dressage, sporting, campdrafting, jumping and mounted games. Pony Club also teaches presentation and formal riding skills. Members can work towards certificates that cover horsemanship, care, feeding, worming, shoeing, formal riding, showjumping and knowledge of various sports.PCAQ
Brisbane Valley Pony & Hack Club is part of the West Moreton district which is Zone 3 and is a member of the Pony Club Association of Qld. When representing Zone 3—navy blue tie, white shirt, fawn jodhpurs, white helmet (AS3838) and zone 3 saddle cloth. (Ties and saddle cloths are borrowed from the zone and are returned when competition is completed)
